RULES AND REGULATIONS

  • No pupil shall absent herself without obtaining leave previously, except in unavoidable circumstances.
  • All applications for a leave shall be made to the principal by her parent or guardian, by filling in the leave record given in the school calendar.
  • During working hours no pupil shall leave her class room without the permission of the class teacher.
  • Permission to leave the school premises during working 5. Hours can be granted only by the principal, on producing a letter of request from a parent or guardian.
  • Pupils are responsible to the school authorities for their conduct within and outside the school irregular attendance, lack of punctuality, habitual idleness, disobedience or disrespect to members of the staff or bad moral influence on other children, all justify dismissal from the school.
  • Pupils who absent themselves from examinations without grave reasons will be considered as failed. No re-examination will be accorded to any pupil.
  • Pupils are responsible for the care of their personal belongings. Pupils are not permitted to wear jewellery, school takes no responsibility for their loss.
  • Damage done to furniture, library books ,sports goods etc.must be payed for at the discretion of the principal.
  • A pass in the promotion alone will not be sufficient for promotion. The marks secured in all tests and examinations throughout the year will be taken into account. Promotion will be decided on the basis of the marks obtained particularly in quarterly, half yearly and the final examinations.
  • Pupils indulging in malpractices will be debarred from the examination and are even liable to be dismissed from school.
  • Dayscholars are strictly forbidden to make any kind of exchange with boarders, viz, to buy things for them, carry letters etc.
  • No book or magazine may be circulated in the school without previous permission from the principal.
  • All are expected to speak English in school.
