NAZARETH — A CITADEL OF LEARNING AND FAITH
“Let your light so shine before others, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.”
— Matthew 5:16
It is with profound gratitude and a renewed sense of mission that I address you as the Principal of Nazareth Convent High School and Junior College, a venerable institution founded by the Franciscan Missionaries of Mary (FMM) and illuminated by the visionary legacy of our beloved Foundress, Blessed Mary of the Passion.
Nazareth stands as a beacon of faith and enlightenment, dedicated exclusively to the education and empowerment of girls. As we step into the 151st year of our enduring journey, we carry forth a heritage steeped in sacrifice, resilience, and an unwavering pursuit of excellence testimony to a century and a half of transformative service to society.
Here at Nazareth, we are deeply committed to the integral formation of each student spiritually, intellectually, emotionally, and socially. Anchored in Gospel values and enriched by a culture of compassion and integrity, we strive to mould young women who are not only academically accomplished, but also morally grounded, emotionally mature, and socially conscious.
Affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), our institution has consistently upheld the highest standards of academic distinction, producing centum results year after year in both ICSE and ISC examinations. Yet, beyond accolades and achievements, our true aspiration lies in nurturing hearts that are open to truth, minds that seek wisdom, and lives that reflect grace and service.
As we journey ahead, I envision a learning environment where every child is encouraged to realise her God-given potential a space where intellect is illuminated by values, and excellence is guided by empathy. Let us, as a united school community, continue to uphold this sacred mission: forming hearts, shaping futures, and building a world rooted in justice, dignity, and hope.
“The Lord will guide you always; He will satisfy your needs… You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail.”
— Isaiah 58:11
