79th Independence Day of Our Nation
On 14th August 2025, Nazareth Convent High School & Junior College proudly celebrated the 79th Independence Day of our nation with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour. The programme, led by the students of Grade VII under the guidance and support of their teachers and our beloved Principal, Rev. Sr. Molly Teresa Tellis, featured vibrant patriotic songs and dances that set the stage alive with energy and spirit. A special highlight of the celebration was the screening of the historic speech “Tryst with Destiny” by our first Prime Minister, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, which stirred deep emotions of pride among all present. Our Correspondent, Rev. Sr. Pushpa Joseph, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and delivered an inspiring address, motivating students to uphold the values of unity, service, and dedication to the nation. The celebration concluded with sweets, smiles, and heartfelt moments — leaving everyone not only with joy and laughter but also with a renewed sense of patriotism.
